Welcome to the Talbot Hill PTA website! We are a new PTA in the Renton School District that started officially in November 2022. Our goal is to help enrich the lives of our students and aid them in their educational journey while supporting the teachers and staff of Talbot Hill Elementary.
April 2024 Updates!
Staff Appreciation Week is May 6-10! We will host a small celebration each day. Sign up to help bring items or to help set up for each event. This year's theme is: Garden Party.

Tuesday: Taco Bar for lunch
Wednesday: Popcorn and Lemonade
Thursday: Salad Bar for lunch
Friday: Coffee Cart and Breakfast
Multicultural Night/Bite of Talbot - Save the date for Thursday, May 30 from 5:30-7:00pm. Similar to last year, we'll have a performance showcase to highlight our our students and families in their various talents! We welcome all performers - please fill out our interest form!
Soon we'll be looking for families to provide other support for this great community engagement event.
Interested in joining the planning committee? The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 7 from 5:30-6:30pm on Zoom. Let us know you want to join in the fun!
2024-25 Budget Planning Committee
We're looking for volunteers to serve on this committee which will help form our plans for next school year. The planning meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 15 at 5:30pm in the library. Email us at TalbotHillPTA@gmail.com to let us know you're interested!
Art Docent Program: We’re beginning an Art Docent program and will offer training October 24 for family members interested in volunteering with this program! Please visit the program calendar to sign up! We are looking for 1-2 volunteers per classroom to help throughout the school year! Interested or have questions? Contact our Art Docent Chair, Sarah Grefalda!

Share with others the great things our PTA is doing and offer others to join.
Make a financial donation! And check with your employer to see if they match donations to non-profits.
Provide us with feedback! Did you enjoy an event? Do you have things to suggest for next time? Tell us!
Do you shop at Fred Meyer or QFC and use a Rewards card? Connect your Rewards account through the Community Rewards program and help us earn donations when you shop! Every time you use your Fred Meyer Rewards, Kroger will make a contribution to our PTA.

Donation collections are happening all week during student drop-off (30 minutes before school) AND on Friday, April 26 from 4:30-5:30pm in the front parking lot (by the flag pole). We're looking for gently used children and youth clothing and shoes which we will collect up and put up for sale at $1 each on Saturday, April 27!
